Interchangeable part numbers for this profile. A solid node is already profiled in this catalogue; a hollow node is a valid substitute that has no profile yet.
RC0603FR-07100KL not yet profiled
Yageo 100 kΩ 0603. Interchangeable in every signal application. Note the Yageo is rated 50 V working rather than 75 V, which only matters if the resistor sits directly across a high-voltage node.
RK73H1JTTD1003F not yet profiled
KOA 100 kΩ with anti-sulfur construction. Choose it over the Panasonic part when the board lives in a sulfur-bearing environment; otherwise it is simply more expensive.
ERA-3AEB104V not yet profiled
Thin-film ±0.1 % version in the same 0603 footprint. Roughly 6x the price and worth it only when the 100 kΩ sets a filter corner or a reference divider that must hold over temperature.
The only prose on this page
Above about 100 kΩ the resistor stops being the dominant impedance in the node. A fingerprint, a solder flux residue or 85 % RH condensation can add a parallel path of 10-100 MΩ, which on a 100 kΩ divider is a 0.1-1 % error that moves with humidity. Clean the board and, if the node is genuinely high impedance, guard it.
Johnson noise from a 100 kΩ resistor at 25 °C is about 40 nV/√Hz. Over a 10 kHz bandwidth that is 4 µV RMS, which is fine against a 3.3 V ADC but marginal against a 12-bit reference on a 1 V span. Adding a 100 nF capacitor across the lower leg rolls the noise off above 16 Hz and is the cheapest fix available.
Panasonic rates this part at 75 V working while many 0603 thick films stop at 50 V. In a mains-referenced sense divider the resistor often sees 100-300 V transient peaks, so neither rating is sufficient alone: you need two or three parts in series per leg, and the rating then adds up as long as the layout keeps creepage.

| Sourcing — Availability risk | 100 kΩ 0603 in 1 % is a top-ten volume resistor. Panasonic ERJ parts are stocked by all major distributors and by LCSC in Asia; the 75 V rating makes it slightly more attractive than 50 V competitors in mains-referenced sensing front ends. |

| Pinout and handling | Two-terminal, non-polarised. In high-impedance nodes, remember the part itself is a leakage path: a dirty or flux-contaminated board can drop the effective resistance between adjacent 0603 pads to well under 100 MΩ, which is enough to corrupt a 100 kΩ divider. |
